The Best Care is a leading provider of childcare services in the Livingston and East Baton Rouge parishes, established to provide a safe and enriching environment for your children. Not only do our centers create perfectly designed lessons to improve your child's development and growth, but we also maintain a very structured environment that still allows children to have fun. It's the perfect choice for any young child.
The Best Care opened for business in 1986 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Robert and Ruth Sehring founded the Best Care, and in 2005 their son Jim Sehring and his wife Denise Sehring took over. Then, in 2012 the Sehring's acquired a new childcare center in Live Oak. Now the Sehring's run both facilities, with the help of their trusted managers and teachers.
The Best Care of Baton Rouge is open Monday through Friday, 6:30 am - 6:00pm. The Best Care of Live Oak is open Monday through Friday, 6:00am - 6:00pm.
We offer childcare services starting as young as 6 weeks old all the way up to 12 years old. During the school year we have Pre-K classes, daycare services, and a before and after care program. We also have a Summer Camp program thats filled with fun activities for the kids!

All of our teachers and staff go through a Childcare Criminal Background Check, to ensure the safety of our students. In addition, each teacher and staff member goes through orientation which can last anywhere from four to thirty days. All of our staff members are CPR and Health & Safety certified, and Pre-K teachers have a Bachelors Degree in Teaching.

Every year the children get to Trick or Treat around the center, and Santa comes to give them an early Christmas present and take a picture!
LSU Fans!!
Almost every Friday of football season we host LSU Pep Rallies for our students! Each class learns the LSU fight song and chants it together at the Pep Rally. We have so much fun dancing and cheering, its the perfect way to rap up the week!
Summer Fun!
Each summer is so exciting, so we do our best to end on a good note! We have a Luau, Bingo party, Bowling party, Skating party, and a Swim party for each group!
